Another shipment heading to Denmark!

We have successfully loaded and delivered 18 massive reinforced concrete deck elements for the Lynetteholm – Brokaj på Fase 2 perimeter project, where Per Aarsleff is carrying out construction works on Copenhagen’s new peninsula and flood protection system.

As part of Phase 2 of the Lynetteholm project, Aarsleff is responsible for constructing the eastern, western and northern perimeter, forming the final section of the project’s outer boundary. The works include major marine infrastructure and coastal protection elements, contributing to one of Denmark’s most ambitious infrastructure developments. Based on Aarsleff’s project information, the second phase also focuses strongly on reducing CO₂ emissions throughout the construction process.

The Carrier 17 barge operated by Marine Group AB was loaded with 18 deck-type elements, each weighing between 80 and 170 tonnes.

To facilitate and accelerate installation works on site, the elements were arranged on one side of the barge in two layers, ensuring efficient logistics and smoother assembly during offshore operations.

A great example of engineering, logistics, and teamwork coming together on another major marine infrastructure project.
